SIMON THE SORCERER: ORIGINS

Simon the Sorcerer: Origins is the official prequel of the beloved point-and-click adventure saga published by Leonardo Interactive. Thirty years after his first adventure, players can follow Simon's return in a prequel full of unpredictable events that will propel them into the Wizarding World - a place controlled by powerful (and mostly useless) wizards and absurd creatures.

Narrative Designer

  • During pre-production, I wrote a first draft of the main story structure.

  • Studied all previous chapters of the saga to elaborate on various story options for this new chapter, choosing the prequel formula with the CEO.

  • Wrote some first examples of dialogues, taking inspiration from the classic tone of the saga.

Game designer

  • Created some puzzles for a complete point-and-click section, used as the first example of gameplay.

  • Wrote pre-production documentation and main mechanic concepts.

Level Designer

  • Designed hundreds of competitive maps for another still unnaunced title of the company.
