PAW PATROL GRAND PRIX

PAW Patrol: World is a kart racing game published by Outright Games and based on the children's television series PAW Patrol. Players can race alone or with friends on 12 different tracks with a roster of 10 playable characters. They will be able to play with auto-acceleration for easier racing and a harder mode for experienced players.

Level Designer

  • Designed and whiteboxed 6 racing tracks in Unreal Engine 4 from scratch.

  • Designed and positioned pick-up collectibles and boost ramps.

  • Positioned checkpoints, AI trajectories, and other gameplay assets.

Game designer

  • Tuned autopilot and AI driving skills at 3 difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard.

  • Tuned main driving mechanics and vehicle collisions.

  • Wrote the level design chapter of the LDD.

Research

  • Analyzed a playtest with the target audience (kids between the age of 4 and 7) and updated the product in order to better suit the audience's needs.

  • Worked with the tech department to develop better level design tools and practices.
